Abstract
The article has been prepared in the course of the S.J.D. research of privatelaw regulation of finance. The author has analyzed the Russian and English semantics of the term "finance”, discovered the substance of finance, exposed the ontological and existential essence of finance, and on that basis, suggested the new paradigm of the modern financial science.
