- The article deals with tutorial strategies typical for Japanese Buddhism in 13th c. on the example of Nichiren's (1222-1282) letters: traditional monk's education combined with simple teaching for lay believers in the formation of a new sectar- ian community. The publication presents "Sado gosho" ("Letter from Sado Island") translated into Russian.
