- Abstract
- The article presents the synopsis of some presentations at one of the sections at A.D. Sakharov jubilee conference Alarm and hope. A chaotic state of the Russians historical consciousness, its lability, inconsistency and vulnerability to manipulating are noted. The problem is considered on material of the results of different polls on the public attitudes to de stalinization program; the impact of Internet on the Russians ideas of the Past and evolution of the youth historical consciousness as it was manifested in senior pupils historical compositions that were being presented to MEMORIAL Society competition during 2000 ies.
