- Abstract
- Gogol's and Schelling's views on the soul problem are correlated in the context of age of Romanticism. Gogol and Schelling share “esthetic pantheism”, annimation of nature that is perceived in the perspective of the art. Ontological, spiritualistic and psychologistic aspects of percept of soul by the two authors, their connection with historiosophy are cinsidered.
