Abstract
The factors of social representations' construction of HIV-infection and AIDS are analyzed. Informational background and social context of dynamics of ordinary consciousness about HIV/AIDS for resent decade are considered. Modern typology of social representations of HIV/AIDS is proposed as the result of authors' empiric study of content and structure of social representations in different socio-demographic groups. The system of correlations between the content of social representations and socio-demographic and socio-psychological peculiarities of group members-possessors of different types of social representations ("Outwardly disturbed", "Underestimated", "Aggressively displaced", "Self-assured", "Alerted") are discussed.
