Abstract
The article is devoted to the problem of sociological analysis of humorous self-presentation of the Russian national character. Based on the content analysis of anecdotes devoted to the manifestations of national characteristics, the main forms of presentation of the national origin are summarized, and the features and manifestations peculiar to the Russian people are systematized.
