Abstract

The detailed review of the book Nowotny H, Testa G. Naked genes: rethinking the human in the molecular age is presented. The major prospects and threats of unrestrained development of molecular genetics and biotechnologies in whole are considered. The reviewd authors' view of sociological meaning of life sciences in contemporary society is revealed.
