Abstract
V. Grossman''s philosophical reflection on the essence of historical events that is encapsulated in the plot of the novel, is analyzed. The interconnection betwееn the eventness and the idea of undestructability of human aspiration for freedom being a keynote in V. Grossman''s novel is shown.
