Abstract

The paper presents a survey of a round table discussion held at St. Petersburg Humanitarian University of Trade Unions. The participants addressed the problems of Internet as an environment for socialization and young peoples communication space, went through information and education potential of World Web, considered media images and mass culture myths, raised question whether it is feasible to establish code of ethics of Internet inhabitant.
