- Abstract
- Deep resemblance between gastronomy culture and practices of totalitarian societies and totalitarian utopias, on the one hand, and nowadays consumer culture of nutrition, especially fast food, on the other hand, are analyzed in detail. In both cases there are some or other practices of exerting power and disciplining. But in the nowadays situation the exerting of power is soft, concealed and и based on a mechanism of endless enjoyment and immediate fulfillment of desire.
