- Abstract
- The phenomenon of legitimate language (the term after P. Bourdieu) is considered which is to be the sign of belonging to the social elite within stable societies. Within the transformative societies such as Russian or Belarusian ones, there is no such entity meeting all the requirements to be considered a legitimate language.
