- Abstract
- "Evolutionary potential" of non-evolutionary forms of cultural transformations, such as diffusions, variations, regresses etc. is analyzed. Non-evolutionary transformations are important in sociocultural evolution that is regarded as a process of increase in complexity and innovations. The "evolutionary potential" of non-evolutionary transformations is of special importance in the specific sociocultural environment of transitive epochs.
