Abstract

While personal computer is rather heavity used by older people in Russia, very little is known about how they interact with computer systems and use them in their daily lives. This paper tells about the changing of writing and reading habits among elderly people who use a computer. The author undertook an empirical study aimed at revealing and explaining real life computing. The collected data show how the home computer opens new possibilities for elderly.
