- Abstract
- This article offers an insight into a well-known tractate Anthropology from a Pragmatic Point of View by Immanuel Kant. Anthropology here is considered as a new universal discipline, which is based on empirical knowledge, and is directly related to Kant's critical metaphysical theory, to his understanding of autonomy of will, of freedom, of faith and of education. It is important that Kant's ideas are examined in the context of the post-Enlightenment European culture.
