- Abstract
- The paper is the presentation by well-known Italian philosopher at the Round table meeting run September 18, 2013 in Brussels by European Group on Ethics in Science and New Technologies (EGE). It considers problems related to massive employment of security technologies and video monitoring by the governments in order to exercise control over common people and their social behavior. According to the author, introduction of such practices contradicts to European humanistic norms and values.
