Abstract
Inadequacy of the traditional "semantic" and "hermeneutical" treatment of Job's discussion with his friends and of the impact of God appearance in the Book of Job is demonstrated. Another, "non-semiotic" approach is presented that could also to explain to some degree the impact of the pray and of the poetical word.
