Abstract
In the perspective of the social and cultural anthropology Russians and ancient Greeks are considered as the two extreme poles on the axis of "political subjectness". The nature of social communication, disposition to rationalization and rational behavior in one's social environment and the sense of individual responsibility for social situation are considered as key characteristics of political subjectness.
