Abstract
Petr Fedorovich Chubov (1880-1947), a Leningrad doctor, devoted all his life to study philosophy as a cognitive base of a worldview. In his unpublished manuscript Weltanschauung. How to develop one's worldview prepared in 20-40-ies, he considered some major problems of philosophy and suggested a program to help any concerned individual to create his/her own worldview. The introduction to the book containing an answer to the question What is worldview is published in the Journal. A brief biography of P.F. Chubov is provided as well.
