Abstract
The materials of the expert discussion on the project of Human being dictionary presented earlier in the Journal (# 6, 2016) are published. Among the topics of focus there are the experience of the work on encyclopedic publications in social sciences and humanities; the possible conceptions of the dictionary; the treatment of various domains of the Human studies; the balance between the personal and the knowledge in the texts; the mission and the function of the publication proposed; electronic and traditional versions of the dictionary.
