Abstract
The everyday construction of the age by younger and elder omen in the context of their life course is analyzed. Basing on 29 qualitative interviews with young (15-35 years) and elderly (75-85 years) women we identified how the age is perceived in chronologically different periods, what is the role of the structural conditions and imposed role expectations.
