Abstract
The critical difference between the practices of Human being biotechnological enhancement and those of therapeutic treatment is demonstrated. Sensitive zones of the discourse of Human being enhancement related to the comprehension of the categories of the Given and the Assigned (designed); the Natural and the Mechanistic are outlined. Differences between religious, ethical, technological perfectionism are shown.
