Abstract
Lone mothers' disciplinary practices are considered on the basis of the author's research in Moscow in 2008-2009. On the face of the data obtained, it's intimacy between the child and the mother that determine the child's personal features and behavior as well as disciplinary practices applied by the mother. Prevailing lone mothers parental style is an authoritarian one.
